Plastic Free Champions

Hurrah - Blue Stiggy is now officially a Plastic Free Champion - look we’ve got a plaque to put on our desk to remind us every day :)

Surfers Against Sewage are environmental activists, dedicated to the protection of oceans, waves, beaches and wildlife.  A grass roots movement, that has grown in to one of the UK's most active and successful environmental charities.  

They began a campaign to get businesses to focus on removing single use plastic from their work and developed an accreditation scheme whereby businesses can apply to become a plastic free champion.  and I'm delighted to tell you that Blue Stiggy has been accepted as a Plastic Free Champion and have recently received our plaque and certificate.

Supporting businesses who consciously focus on their environmental impact means that you too are helping the environment - So thank you thank you thank you so much for supporting our journey to bring you eco conscious notebooks and stationery - x -

No Plastic Here

One of the biggest uses for single use plastic is for Packaging. So, I thought I’d share with you the anatomy of your Blue Stiggy order and let you know what I use to get it to you safely.

There is NO plastic used to wrap your order. Your order will be carefully and lovingly wrapped in recycled tissue paper and sealed with decorative paper washi tape. I will then hand write a note for you on hand painted recycled paper (offcuts from my workshop) and pack it all up in cardboard box sealed with paper tape.
